Today in my hometown is holiday, in 1385 we fought against Castilians. Portugal won and only allowed bread and oranges for the Castilians eat. After one month Castilians crossed again Trancoso and they burned the Chapel of St. Mark. Portugal won again Castilians in the Battle of Aljubarrota. After these wars, Portuguese independence was confirmed and a new dynasty was established.
